As the pioneer of building directories, Tablet & Ticket patented the first strip type directory in 1895. Early units were found in the Manadnock, Reliance, Tribune, Wrigley, Merchandise Mart and Empire State buildings along with hundreds of others. Tablet & Ticket also held the patents on the first rear illuminated directories around 1940. Today, we still are the leaders of custom designed and sized directories.
